The Placement and career development Cell (PCD):

The PCD cell of Dr. Z.H. P.G. College, Etah consists of the active students of second and third year. They are led by Dr. Saptarshi De (Dept. of Physics) and supported by other faculty members. The main aim of the cell is to provide placements, job information, training & internships to students.
The College encourages the students to think positively for establishing their own enterprises. It believes that producing one entrepreneur out of its academic efforts and practical-based opportunities to gain knowledge can create substantial employment.

“Let us not demand jobs… let us create jobs” is the motive behind PCD.

Placement cell organizes and conducts Special Placement focused Training programs at regular intervals in the following areas:
A) Communication Skills (Spoken English and etc.)
B) Soft & Technical Skills (Computer training and typing class etc.)
C) Grooming of students in written tests, group discussions and personal interviews.
D) Cell organizes expert lecture series during seminar at the department level in co-ordination with student organizations.
E) Jobs’ (govt. & non-govt.) data bank creation and notification for the registered students
F) Awareness generation and share current information about vacancies for higher education (in India and abroad)
G) Value added Courses (workshops and training)
